Introducing the IDP Team:

Chris Elam
Director of Client Development and Relations
Chris Elam has over 18 years of experience in the higher
education industry. The first 16 years was spent managing education
finance (student lending) sales teams for several of the largest
financial institutions in the world (Bank of America, Sallie Mae
and Lehman Brothers). Their focus was collaboration with Enrollment
Management divisions on funding models, enrollment philosophies and
data optimization.
During the last two and a half years, Elam directed the Americas’
recognition and sales teams for a new computerized English language
proficiency assessment organization. The new assessment has been
widely adopted by many of the largest destination
universities/colleges in the Americas region.
Elam is a graduate of the University of Louisiana.

Michael Haines
Manager of North America Operations
Michael is responsible for assisting institutions with enhancing
their international outreach efforts and works closely with the
company's teams based overseas. Prior to joining IDP in 2009,
Michael developed partnerships within the aerospace, investment,
and legal industries. He is currently pursuing an MBA at Drexel
University's LeBow College of Business in entrepreneurship and
innovation management and holds a bachelors degree in international
and cultural studies from the University of Tampa. While an
undergraduate student, Michael researched methods for more
effective communication between and within various types of
multinational organizations.

management. Prior to IDP, she worked as a training and
development project manager for Fortune 500 companies and as a

Philadelphia. With IDP, she uses her strong organizational
skills and ability to plan events that meet the needs of all
stakeholders to support the travel and marketing logistics of
partner institutions.

David Bushey
University Account Manager
David has spent his career working with colleges and
universities across the country, and is sensitive to their business
needs. Prior to joining IDP, he spent three years with
CampusDoor/Lehman Brothers Bank, working as a university
representative in their private student lending division, and he
has a finance degree from Shippensburg University.

Patricia Sheffer

For nearly two decades, Patti has built relationships and
partnered with higher educational institutions to help them reach
their recruitment goals. She spent more than 15 years at
Peterson’s, assisting higher education clients to diversify
enrollments and increase their brand awareness through print,
online and lead generation channels. Now she puts this experience
and expertise to use helping institutions improve international
recruitment and achieve campus diversity goals.

John Green

John's responsibility at IDP is developing relationships in
the international education market by working with US public and
private higher education institutions, high schools, ESL providers
and community colleges. Currently, John is the Account Manager for
all 4-year higher education institutions in the Western United
States, as well as community colleges, high schools, Proprietary
ESL and pathway programs nationally.
Overall, the success of a highly functional and visible IDP
portfolio of US education institutions will provide access to
thousands of international students from our participating
countries in the Middle East, North, South and South East Asia.

Racquel McCall

Coordinator since IDP's inception in the US in 2009. Over the
years with IDP, she has traveled internationally with university
partners and has developed long-lasting relationships with both
